Hi. I’m Katie Pancione. I am a Northern Virginia-based millennial therapist who takes a modern approach, tailoring therapy to your specific needs and personality.

A smiling woman with wavy, shoulder-length light brown hair and blue eyes, wearing a red top and a necklace with a small pendant, in an indoor setting.

What Katie wants you to know:

“It takes quite a bit to offend me. I appreciate dark humor and honest, direct conversation, but I also understand that sometimes what people need most is a space where they can finally say the things they haven’t been able to say anywhere else.”

About Katie

Before becoming a therapist, I spent more than a decade working at a fast-growing tech company. That experience gave me a deep appreciation for the real-life pressures people face as they navigate career demands, relationships, and personal transitions.

Eventually, I realized my true calling was helping people work through those moments. I enjoy working with adults working through tough moments in grief, loss, relationships, and work life balance.

I also blend my love of helping people and business savvy to educate clinicians about business and help residents in counseling grow their own client portfolio with the plan to launch their own practice by the end of their residency program.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Tech and my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University.

Outside of my work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, daughter, and our two cats.

If you're wondering how to pronounce my last name:

Pancione: PAHN-SEE-OWN
